Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky will be joining the Championship in 2023 season for, at least, three rounds: the one in Hell, Norway; Höljes, Sweden; and Lydden Hill, in UK. Mikaela will be racing with Team E, joining forces with team-mate Nils Andersson. The Swede driver has joined the first-ever FIA electric Rallycross Championship, having seen the success of the series. Åhlin-Kottulinsky has more than enough talent to hit the ground running in the FIA World Rallycross Championship support class.
Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky has been the first woman to achieve a pole and win a race in the Scandinavia Touring Car Championship, where she raced from 2017 until 2021, before stepping into Extreme E. In the first season in Extreme E she achieved a fourth place overall at the end of the Championship, and last season she improved the position and placed second in overall standings.
