What is RX2e

Sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, RX2e is the first-ever FIA electric rallycross championship. RX2e electrified the international rallycross landscape by joining the FIA World Rallycross Championship undercard in 2021.

The vision for RX2e is to provide a pathway to the top of the sport for aspiring rallycross stars.

RX2e started as an arrive-and-drive concept with the idea of bringing the electric technology to as many drivers as possible. It has consolidated itself as the best category for aspiring professional drivers in World RX, Rally Raid or other off-road international series.

After 2 inaugural seasons with exciting races and a competitive technical package, RX2e became a team-based Championship from season 3, while QEV Technologies remained as the single supplier of the cars and powertrain.

100% electric power to 270 kW.
Boost mode up to 350 kW.

Each Competition comprises official practice sessions, a qualifying session, four Heats, two Semi-Finals and one Final.

To strengthen the link between RX2e and World RX:
A free RX2e permanent entry will be given to a competitor in the World RX or a competitor with minimum 2 permanent entries in the RX1 or RX3.
The 2024 RX2e winner will have a free entry in the 2025 RX1.
